Skadovsk – a resort town with a fine entry into the sea, sandy beach, what is very suitable for recreation with small children.
If you are bored with a rest on the beach and want entertainment, in the evening you can go to an amusement park or to the cinema.
There is also a local water park.
And for those who are not indifferent to astronomy: you can watch from a telescope for space objects, such as the Moon and Saturn.
There are cafes and restaurants along the promenade.
You will find hotels, cottages near the promenade. You can also rent an apartment. The farther from the beach, the lower cost will be for the accommodation.
Opposite to Skadovsk, 9 km by boat, there is an uninhabited island Dzharylgach, where holiday-makers often go from Skadovsk to avoid crowds on the resort beach.
During the holiday in Skadovsk you can go on some excursions: biosphere reserve “Askania Nova” (110 km from Skadovsk), healing thermal geyser “Hot Spring” (not far from Zhelezny Port beach resort (90 km from Skadovsk).
